Fernando Martin Atelier is a multidisciplinary design practice rooted in the belief that space is not merely occupied, but experienced. Founded in South India, our work navigates the delicate balance between the built environment and the natural world, crafting structures that age gracefully and resonate with their context.
A diverse group of architects, designers, and thinkers united by a passion for detail.
The FMA identity is a tribute to the late Juan Suárez Botas (1958–1992), a visionary Spanish architect and illustrator whose work bridged the gap between rigorous structure and artistic fluidity.
Known for his contributions to the "La Movida Madrileña" and his architectural illustrations in New York, Botas possessed a unique ability to humanize geometry. Our logo, an original sketch by Botas, embodies this philosophy: the heavy, grounded architectural forms are softened by his signature energetic, hand-drawn lines.
It serves as a constant reminder that architecture is not just about engineering, but about the spirited mark of the human hand.
